Little Annoyances
Here I sit on my couch with the MacBook Pro and a bottle of wine watching some movies. This is how 99% of my days end up. Luckily right now I have my beautiful girl here for the summer so I get to spend a lot of great time with her and fill in the grand canyon where I would like to have friends or a relationship. Unfortunately Oahu is hard as shit to meet anyone and I work in this isolated little bubble of servitude called the Army. Luckily I work in this great environment where no one really hangs out with each other and everyone kind of does their own thing. I miss having a friend that you can call no matter what at any time and they will be there. When I was back home I could call my friend Coy and if he wasn’t at work he was there. period. Here I can call everyone I know (all 5 people) and get no one. And if I can’t even find a friend how easy do you think it is to start a relationship? Yeah. Exactly. I love Hawai’i and I’ll never be one of those douche bag military guys who says Hawai’i is the worst place in the world, but I really wish it was easier here and I’m starting to think I’m looking forward to life on the mainland again. I’m done whining/ranting for the night now. Back to vino and my Buffy addiction.
